POTISTIKA BEACH

One of the most beautiful sandy beaches of South Pelion, on the Aegean side, is the beach of Potistika. Access to it is very easy and is 3 km from the village Xinovrisi and 7 km from the village Argalasti. This is an amazing beach with fine sand and turquoise, clear waters, which deepen sharply. This beach is dominated by large rocks in the sea, with access relatively easy for swimmers, who have the opportunity to climb for a swim. The surrounding landscape is green, with low hills and olive groves. It should be noted that, due to its large size, the beach of Potistika is never full of people.

On the beach there are cafes, two bars, restaurants, three taverns and some years sunbeds are rented.
It is good to have the essentials with you. Many campers also gather on this beach, doing free camping. Following the path south you can reach the adjacent, equally enchanting, beach of Melani.
